Great Basin National Park is located along Nevada’s eastern border with Utah. The parks name comes from its location in the Great Basin, a dry, mountainous region between the Sierra Nevada and Wasatch Mountains. The park is known for its groves of ancient bristlecone pines, Lehman Cave, and for the 13,063-foot high Wheeler Peak.
