Who is Duckwyn?

Duckwyn is the name of my son's stuffed animal. He's a duck who loves to travel. Now, Duckwyn is also the name of a fun new travel passport app for families. Duckwyn, the app, loves to travel too. 

I'm a dad with two kids and a family that enjoys traveling. We've explored our fair share of North America and Europe with plans to go to many more destinations. When you're traveling with kids, it can be difficult to teach them an appreciation of the sites they are seeing. Often, the signs (if they exist) are written for adults in a context that only adults understand. With Duckwyn, you can help your kids learn about history in a way that is easier for them to understand.

Kids love to collect things from the places they go. If you're like my family you've probably purchased coins or stamp books that serve as a reminder of these places. And, perhaps like my family, the next time you go on a trip you forgot to bring your collectible book. This has happened one too many times to us which is why I thought creating a passport book, that's always accessible, would be a fun and better way to track our family travels.

Each location in our app (more coming soon) has a unique virtual stamp and coin that you can collect. Stamps are received at each location you go to, just click the stamp button when you're at each landmark. Coins are collected after completing a series of trivia questions about the landmark. If you get all the questions right, you receive a special sticker. All the stamps and stickers can be viewed and shared at any time in your passport book.
