Victoria Falls is located on the Zambezi River in Africa. At 1708 m wide and 108 m tall, it is the worlds largest sheet of falling water. The area is protected by two national parks, one in Zimbabwe and the other in neighboring Zambia. David LIvingstone, a Scottish missionary, identified the falls in 1855 and named it after Queen Victoria.
