New Explorer Screen and more...

9/28/2018

Today, we launched the new explorer screen. You can now access the list of nearby points of interest, challenges, and your passport book without leaving the explorer interface. This will make it easier to navigate the app and access all your information.

We also added a new page to track where you've been. It will show you the total countries, US states, cities, and destinations you've been. A map will show you how far you've progressed in the new 50 State Challenge. Finally, all your stamps and coins are shown for you to show off to your family and friends.

To access this new page, you will need to setup a username. You can do this by going to the settings page and entering your unique username. Be creative and come up with a fun new name. When you're done, go to https://app.duckwyn.com/explorer/your-username and check out your results.

Here is Duckwyn's new travel page.

The Colosseum

You never forget your first visit to the Colosseum. This marvel is almost 2000 years old and its construction and layout are still used in today’s stadiums. I wish I could have seen what it looked like before its' marble was removed and used for other construction projects in Rome.

Today, the Colosseum was added to the Duckwyn Project. It’s now available as a destination in the passport.

Monet's Garden, escape Paris for the day

Monet's Garden is located about 50 miles outside of Paris. This destination needs to be on your list if you're looking to take a day trip from the city. Take a bus tour or, better yet, take the train to Vernon and then rent bikes for a short ride to Giverny to visit these amazing gardens. Here you can tour Monet's house and the gardens that inspired this great painter.

Starting today, Monet's Garden has been added to the Duckwyn Passport app. Next time you visit, be sure to use your app to collect the stamp and answer trivia questions to earn your special coin.

If you don't yet have the app, sign up today. Duckwyn is a webapp that can be accessed from any browser so there is no special store download anything from.
